About me

Hi, I’m an award-winning Washington, DC freelance photographer with a primary focus on real estate, food photography and portraits.

I’m also a web designer, foodie, tech lover & a self-described nerd.  I’ve had a camera in my hand most of my life, ironically enough though, I’m just beginning to take my photography and video seriously. I am the consummate visual story teller and have begun to travel and live with more of a photogenic purpose.

I studied design at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and received my masters in Interactive Media from American University.

My passion for visual storytelling is fueled by the designs I see in everyday things. I have spent 15+ years as a professional web designer. I have grown technically but my creative desires and passions took a backseat as I fulfilled the “functional” requirements of web development.

I understand how to communicate visually to capture individual personalities, sentiments and emotions. My experiences give insight into the development of strong visuals to complete creative assignments of all kinds.

Let me help you tell your story visually. Feel free to contact me to chat about your project needs and visual requirements.
